Medical Bill Services

DPT Consulting Services offers auditing & negotiating services for personal medical bills.  With 10+ years of experience in health care billing and collections, our consultants are committed to assisting you to ensure that the charges on your account are both necessary and correct.  We also offer negotiating services in which we attempt to reduce your out of pocket expense to your health care provider.

Charge Auditing Service:

History has provided us with proof that health care providers periodically charge patients for drugs, supplies, or services that were not rendered whether it was due to simple human error or an attempt to collect more money.  In order for us to obtain all of the necessary information to perform a charge audit of your health care bill legally, we must have a signed Release of Information (ROI) to submit to your health care provider.  We ask that you simply send us an email requesting a copy of the ROI.  We will then forward a copy of the ROI back to your email address for you to complete and mail back to us.  Once we have received the completed ROI, we will contact your health care provider directly to obtain the information we need to perform the audit.  After the audit is complete, we will contact you directly with the results as well as provide you with a copy of our actual audit.  We then notify your health care provider of any corrections that need to be made to your bill.  If you have insurance and your health care provider does not agree to submit a corrected claim to your insurance carrier, we will contact your insurance carrier on your behalf with our findings so they can pursue a corrected claim from your health care provider.

Negotiating Service:

Often times health care providers will reduce the outstanding amount owed by a patient in return for a 'Full & Final Payment' or a 'Structured Payment Plan'.  However, most patients do not know the appropriate way to approach their health care provider or they simply do not want to take the time out of their busy day to negotiate.  DPT Consulting stands in the gap for you.  Our experienced consultants are trained in the methods to negotiate down your out of pocket expenses in order to reach the best possible bottom line amount for you.

Rates / Fees are located below.  We operate on a sliding fee scale depending on the amount we are able to save you.

Coordination of Benefits:

Have you ever wondered whether or not your insurance company or companies (if you have more than one) are actually paying the way they should be?  Have you tried to contact them, but you just don't understand the "lingo" they use?  DPT Consulting Services can help.  Our consultants are very versed in the "lingo" used by insurance companies.  We will contact your insurance company or companies and make sure they have everything lined out correctly.  If anything we do causes your out of pocket expenses to your medical provider to decrease, we may apply additional charges according to our Negotiating Service sliding scale (located below).  There is a base fee for contacting your insurance company or companies to ensure that everything is correct.

How do I pay for services?

 - Login or Create an account with PayPal.  Inform us via email of your PayPal Username and we will issue an invoice to
   that account.
 - Once payment is received, your assignment will be returned to you as mentioned in the previous section.
